The Boomers Car Club is hosting a benefit car show from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Aug. 8 at the West End Fairgrounds. The rain date is Aug. 9.

There will be a tricky tray and food trucks. Trophies will be awarded.

Entry fee for cars is reduced with a bag of dog or cat food. There is a reduced entry fee for veterans and bikes.

There is no charge for spectators, but they will be collecting donations. Proceeds from the event will primarily go to Monroe County Meals on Wheels, but a portion will also be donated to Tunnels to Towers.
