A Monroe County woman has been charged with the alleged indecent assault of a minor.

According to the affidavit filed by trooper Philip Corrado of the Pennsylvania State Police — Hazleton barracks, in the case against Isabella Gwinn-Sinno:

On Aug. 28, 2023, PSP Fern Ridge was made aware of an incident that occurred between a-then 11-year-old male victim, and his-then 18-year-old neighbor, Gwinn-Sinno, 21, over the summer of 2023.

During this incident, it was reported that the victim was sleeping over at Gwinn-Sinno’s residence in the 100 block of Winding Way, Long Pond, Chestnuthill Township, when the victim woke up to Gwinn-Sinno attempting to remove his pants.

The victim left the residence and returned home.

At 1:30 p.m. Jan. 11, 2024, a Children Advocacy Center forensic interview was held in Tampa, Florida, due to the victim and his family relocating to that area.

During the forensic interview, which Corrado was observing via a Zoom meeting, the victim talked about the events of the sleepover with Gwinn-Sinno’s siblings.

On Jan. 22, 2024, Corrado submitted a search warrant to Common Pleas Judge Arthur Zulick for the search of Gwinn-Sinno’s residence. The search warrant was signed by Zulick.

At around 6 p.m. Jan. 23, 204, Corrado arrived at Gwinn-Sinno’s residence and served the search warrant. The evidence that the victim had previously described was located in Gwinn-Sinno’s bedroom. The item was seized and entered in evidence at PSP Fern Ridge Station.

At around 7 p.m. Jan. 23, 2024, Corrado interviewed Gwinn-Sinno at the PSP Fern Ridge Station.

Before questioning, Gwinn-Sinno was read her rights from the Rights and Waiver form in which Gwinn-Sinno signed in acknowledgment.

Gwinn-Sinno denied the allegations made by the victim.

Through the interview, it was learned that Gwinn-Sinno and the victim share the same bed when he sleeps over.

Gwinn-Sinno faces charges of unlawful contact with minor, corruption of minors, and indecent assault person less than 13 years of age.

Gwinn-Sinno has not been arraigned, as charges are active.
