Carbon Builders Association is inviting the community to enjoy an evening of designer handbags, bingo, and fun while supporting the future of the skilled trades during its annual Fall Designer Purse Bingo on Sept. 12.

The event will be held at Mahoning Valley Ambulance Corps, 902 Mill Road, Lehighton, with doors opening at 5 p.m. and bingo beginning at 6 p.m.

Guests will play a total of 20 games for the chance to win authentic designer handbags and accessories from brands including Coach, Michael Kors, Dooney & Bourke and Kate Spade.

Food and refreshments will be available for purchase, and supports the Mahoning Valley Ambulance Corp.

Tickets are limited and can be purchased in advance. Reserved seating is available for advance ticket holders. Tickets may be purchased online through the Carbon Builders Association website using PayPal or Square.

Proceeds from the event support Carbon Builders Association’s workforce development initiatives, including its Tools for the Trade program, student scholarships, career awareness efforts, and educational opportunities that encourage young people to pursue careers in the residential construction industry.

Earlier this year, the association awarded $2,500 in tools to graduating seniors entering the skilled trades, helping launch the next generation of carpenters, electricians, plumbers, HVAC technicians, and other construction professionals.

“Every ticket purchased helps us invest in tomorrow’s workforce,” said Deb Kleckner, the executive officer of Carbon Builders Association. “The construction industry continues to need skilled professionals, and we’re committed to providing students with opportunities, resources, and support as they begin their careers. Community support through events like this makes those programs possible.”

In addition to bingo, attendees can enjoy raffle baskets, door prizes, and special games throughout the evening.

Carbon Builders Association has served the building industry since 1981 and is affiliated with both the Pennsylvania Builders Association and the National Association of Home Builders.

The association represents builders, remodelers, suppliers, and industry professionals while promoting education, advocacy, and workforce development throughout the region.
