The Carbon County Commissioners approved or acknowledged the following personnel moves during their meeting last week.

• Resignations: Brianna Churry of Coaldale, Children and Youth Services, effective Aug. 3; Michael P. Gillespie of Jim Thorpe, parking technician, effective July 17; Rupinder Kaur of Easton, Children and Youth Services, effective July 31; and Peter M. Nyamari of Bethlehem, Children and Youth Services, effective July 17.

• Prison board appointment: Anthony Schiano of Nesquehoning, corrections officer, effective July 6.

• Hires: James Delphus of Jim Thorpe, seasonal park ranger II, effective July 24; and Celia Shiner of Nesquehoning, assistant chief assessor, tax assessment, effective Aug. 3.

• Administrative correction for personnel report of March 19: Change the employment separation to resignation for Daniel F. Bechtel.

• Courts resignation: Pamela Baddick of Jim Thorpe, secretary I in district judge office in Jim Thorpe, effective Sept. 11.

• Adult probation appointments: Casey McCabe of Lehighton and Jillian Tite of New Ringgold, probation officers I, both effective July 13.

• Sheriff retirement: Brian D. Hawk of Whitehall, captain, effective Sept. 8.
