A small celebration was held at the Garden of Giving in Saylorsburg when the Rotary of Middle Smithfield came by for a tour and a nice breakfast in the garden.

New volunteers were welcomed recently.

The garden is now in full swing, producing vegetables that are already being delivered to area food pantries. More helpers would be very welcome to help keep up with the constant picking and delivering of vegetables.

Thanks to Emily Daly for delivering to Christian Awareness Ministries Ecumenical Food Pantry, Supplemental Food Resource Center Five Loaves, and Pleasant Valley Ecumenical Network, plus numerous other pantries in Monroe County.

For the indoor types, there are jobs waiting in the office. Emails and phones need constant attention.

The Garden of Giving runs on grants, donations and volunteers as a nonprofit. All forms of support are greatly appreciated.
