Northern Lehigh School Board approved the following matters recently:

• Set graduation for 7 p.m. June 5 in Bulldog Stadium, with rain dates of June 6 or June 7, at a time to be determined.

• Termination of each of the 2026-27 LifeTouch Service Agreements with the Northern Lehigh High School, Northern Lehigh Middle School, Slatington Elementary School and Peters Elementary School, for convenience. The board also directed the superintendent to issue a notice of termination to LifeTouch by May 1.

• Resolution in support of House Bill 41 — Interscholastic Athletics and the Petition to the Honorable Pennsylvania House of Representatives. House Bill 41, sponsored by Rep. Scott Conklin, D-Centre County, amends the Public School Code and would allow the PIAA to establish separate playoffs and championships for boundary and non-boundary schools.

• Resolution to adopt the 2026-27 Carbon Lehigh Intermediate Unit Facilities Plan Committee Report.

• Foster Care Transportation Plan with Lehigh County Children and Youth, as required under Federal Programs for the 2026-27 school year.

• Tammy Fristick, helping teacher, Megan Farkas, inductee, year 1 and year 2, $800 per year stipend; Dylan Hoffman, helping teacher, Adrian Rodriguez, inductee, year 2, $800 per year; Michael Smith, helping teacher, Morgan Kemmerer, year 2, $800 per year; Brittany Warner/Sid Snyder, helping teacher, Rachel DeMicco, year 2, $400 per year; Sue Beil, helping teacher, Taylor Cooper, inductee, year 2, $800 per year; Manuel Gonzalez, helping teacher, Bart Franta, year 2, $800 per year; Allison Chruscial, helping teacher, Kayla Diehl, year 2, $800 per year; Stephen Shuey, helping teacher, Matthew Peitzman, inductee, year 1, $200 per year, for the Northern Lehigh School District Induction Program for the 2025-26 school year.
