Schuylkill County crashes
State police at the Frackville barracks reported the following crashes:
• No one was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 7:54 p.m. Oct. 21 on Route 209 in Schuylkill Township.
Police said the crash occurred when a deer entered the southbound lane and was struck by a 2019 Ram truck driven by Joshua P. Setlock, 50, of Brockton. It traveled into the northbound lane and was struck by a 2015 Chevrolet Cruze operated by Chase A. Carroll, 18, of Frackville.
Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
• Brayden M. Andrewsky, 23, of Morea Colliery, was injured in a one-vehicle crash at 8:58 p.m. Oct. 27 on Main Boulevard in East Union Township.
Police said he did not require a medical transport from the scene but was taken into custody for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance.
He was driving a 2016 Ford F150 pickup south when it crossed the road and struck an embankment on the east shoulder of the road, according to police.
• Joel E. Lopez Leon, 26, of Hazleton, was uninjured in a one-vehicle crash at 1:28 a.m. Nov. 3 on Interstate 81 in Delano Township.
Police said he was driving a 2020 Subaru Legacy southbound when it struck a deer that entered its travel lane.
State police at the Schuylkill Haven barracks reported the following crashes:
• Anthony J. Stanell, 51, of Brockton, was uninjured in a two-vehicle crash at 5:35 p.m. Oct. 25 at the intersection of Mill Creek Avenue and Arthur Street, Norwegian Township.
Police said the crash occurred when a 2014 Nissan Altima operated by Nayeli Rodriguez Urbano, 23, of Pottsville, traveling east on Mill Creek Avenue, attempted to make a left turn onto Arthur Street, and the Altima struck the front passenger side of a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Stanell.
Police said both vehicles were towed from the scene.
Rodriguez Urbano was cited for driving without a license, police said.
• Eric Diaz, 41, of Mahanoy City, was involved in a crash at 7:19 p.m. Oct. 31 on Route 61 in North Manheim Township.
Police said he was driving a 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan northbound when it struck a deer that entered its travel lane.
The van was towed from the scene.
• Stephanie A. Donatti, 46, of Saint Clair, was injured in a three-vehicle crash at 8:42 a.m. Oct. 28 on Route 61 in North Manheim Township.
Police said she was transported by personnel from the Pottsville/Schuylkill Haven Area EMS corps to Geisinger-St. Luke’s Hospital, Orwigsburg.
Police said the crash occurred when a 2022 International bus driven by Darryl J. Ream, 54, of Myerstown, swerved to the left to avoid striking a 2017 Kia Sorento driven by Lotti M. Deioter, 58, of Pottsville, who had slowed in anticipation of making a turn.
Police said the bus struck the Sorrento, swerved to the left and hit a 2010 Jeep Cherokee driven by Donatti.
Ream was cited after the crash, according to police.
• Amy S. Barnhardt, 51, of Adamstown, was cited for following too closely after a crash at 8:41 p.m. Oct. 26 at the intersection of routes 61 and 895 in West Brunswick Township. No one was injured.
Police said Barnhardt was driving a 2019 BMW southbound on Route 61 when it struck the rear of a 2018 Chevrolet operated by Joyce C. Spotts, 20, of Minersville, who was stopped at the intersection for a red light.
Police said both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
• Jennifer L. Lesher, 52, of Sinking Spring, was uninjured in a one-vehicle crash at 7:31 a.m. Nov. 4 on Summer Valley Road in West Brunswick Township.
Police said she was driving a 2017 Lexus northbound when it struck a deer that entered its path.
The vehicle had to be towed from the scene, police said.
