Area state police reported on crashes:

State police at the Fern Ridge barracks reported damages were minor in a two-vehicle crash at 4:36 p.m. April 23 at the intersection of Route 209 and the Gilbert Road in Chestnuthill Township.

Police said a 2006 GMC Envoy turned left onto the Gllbert Road when it was struck by a 2006 Toyota.

Police said both vehicles were able to be driven from the scene. The operators were uninjured.

• Brian Gianotti, 36, of New Tripoli, was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 5:21 p.m. April 25 at the intersection of Holbens Valley and Werleys Corner roads in Weisenberg Township.

Police said he was the driver of a 2019 Ford Ranger that was involved in the incident with a 2013 Dodge Caravan operated by Matthew M. Hummel, 64, of Wilmington, Delaware.

Police said Hummel sustained “possible injuries” and was transported by personnel from the Cetronia Ambulance Association to the Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, Salisbury Township. They said Gianotti refused a medical transport.

Police did not provide the details of the incident except to say Hummel was cited after the crash.

• State police at the Pocono barracks said a vehicle left the scene of a crash at 5:28 a.m. April 16 at mile marker 79.6 in Franklin Township.

They said the vehicle was northbound when it drifted off the roadway and struck an electronic signboard on the right berm, after which time it fled the scene.

• A one-vehicle crash occurred at 8:15 p.m. April 22 on Pheasant Run Road in West Brunswick Township.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said it happened when Kevin D. Mohl Sr., 36, of Schuylkill Haven, was driving a 2007 Mazda northbound and was traveling too fast for conditions when a deer jumped into the roadway. Police said Mohl lost control of the vehicle, which traveled off the left side of the roadway and ended up rolling over onto its roof in a field.

Police said Mohl and a passenger, Amanda N. Hengen, 33, of Auburn, refused emergency medical services personnel treatment at the scene. The driver was cited after the crash.
