The American Hose Company of Tamaqua celebrated its 115th anniversary on Saturday night with a banquet and dinner-dance held at the Mohn Building (Tamaqua Community Center).

Guest speaker for the program was John Mercuri, director of the Schuylkill County Communications Center.

The company’s officers introduced include James R. Connely, president; Jay Hollenbach Sr., vice president; Russ Arnold, secretary; Richard Houtz, treasurer; and Ed Kester, Rick Bachman and Jay Hollenbach Jr., trustees.

Engine rooms officers include Art Connely Jr., fire chief; Robert Behler, captain; Roy Boyer and James R. Connely, lieutenants; Rick Bachman, chief engineer; Bill Coombe and Jay Hollenbach Jr., assistant engineers, and Dave Hadesty, aerial foreman.
