The second annual Jim Thorpe Wrestling Alumni Camp will take place Saturday July 20 and Sunday July 21. The camp will be held in the Jim Thorpe High School Gymnasium.

The camp will run from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. both days and will cost $80 for both or $50 if a wrestler can only make it one day. All campers are asked to bring a snack to eat during the break.

T-shirts will also be included in the registration fee if the camper registers by June 24.

In addition to former Olympians Will Schwartz, Ridge Snyder, Gabe Heaney, Austin Williams and Kevan Gentile, the camp has also added 2024 National Qualifier Shawn Marchesano, who had 89 career wins at Ursinus College and is a Council Rock North assistant coach.

The camp is an opportunity for wrestlers of all ages to learn great technique. There will also be doing a Q&A session for the kids and parents after camp on Saturday. During the Q&A questions about wrestling, nutrition, college recruiting (for our high school athletes) or anything else can be asked.

A majority of the money raised for this camp will be going right back into the Jim Thorpe Wrestling Program!

Payment can be made via check or Venmo this year. Venmo payment can be sent to Will Schwartz, username: willschwartz2. Checks are to be made out to Jim Thorpe Wrestling and sent to William Schwartz at 1019 Center Street, Jim Thorpe PA, 18229.

Payment deadline is June 24 if a camper wants a shirt included. The final registration deadline will be July 13.

The camper will not be fully registered until payment is received.
