Jason Novack was named first place winner of the annual Science Fair of St. Jerome’s School of Tamaqua. Winners were announced during the open house program held Thursday in the school.

Winners in grades 1-2 were Jason Novack, Robert Roche and Scott Semko, places 1, 2 and 3, respectively.

In grades 3-4, Bernard Alonge, Jeffrey Wesner and Catherine Seroka won places 1-3, respectively, while Joseph Dvorsky, John Yorke and Amy Rudy were the winners in grades 5-6.

The first place winner in grade 7 was Matthew Moore, followed by Raquel Kubert and Gary Zubris, while the eighth grade winner was Kathy Dvorsky. Second and third places were won by Stacey Zaldaris and Scott Marcin.
