Members of ALA Unit 360 presented a “Good Deed Award” to the Weatherly High School Kindness Club and their Advisor Miss Kufro recently. The club was collecting gift cards and monetary donations to buy gift cards for their “Operation Valuable Veterans.” Overall the club members collected $1,415 in gift cards, which will be given to the Wilkes-Barre VA Medical Center for veterans in their Community Living Center.
