The Pennsylvania State Police said six people were killed and 90 others injured in crashes over the Easter holiday weekend.

State police released statewide crash and traffic enforcement data showing officers’ activity over the Easter holiday period of March 29-31.

The report shows police responded to 407 crashes, including 46 in which intoxicated driving was a factor. Two of the six fatality crashes were alcohol-related, police said.

The department reported as part of its ongoing commitment to safety, officers arrested 358 motorists statewide for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and issued 17,168 traffic citations, including: 5,285 for speeding, 557 for failing to wear a seat belt and 90 for not securing children in safety seats.
