State police at the Stroudsburg barracks reported today a 43-year-old woman from Ronkonkoma, New York, committed suicide at the Monroe County Correctional Facility, Snydersville, at 5:37 a.m. Feb. 4.

Police said the inmate jumped from a second story structure.
