State police at Frackville - Crashes

State police at the Frackville barracks reported the following crashes:

• Heidi A. Dower, 41, of Mahanoy City, was cited after a one-vehicle crash at 12:16 p.m. March 10 on Trenton Street in Delano Township. She was uninjured.

Police said she was driving a 2008 Honda Civic when she attempted to negotiate a right curve in the roadway and failed to stay in her lane of travel. Police said the car crashed into a ditch on the east shoulder of the road and sustained disabling damages.

• Joshua R. Scholl, 20, of McAdoo, was cited by police for careless driving after a two-vehicle crashes at 5:18 p.m. March 17 on interstate 81 in Ryan Township.

Police said he was driving a 2017 Jeep Cherokee southbound when he failed to negotiate a safe lane change and the Cherokee struck the rear of a 2022 Subaru Impreza driven by Yonah Wasik, 23, of Harveys Lake. Both vehicles were towed from the scene. Police said no one was injured in the incident.

• Brock A. Flemems, 29, Spring Grove, was cited after a two-vehicle mishap at 2:46 p.m. March 19 on Interstate 81 in Mahanoy Township.

Police said he sustained suffered minor injuries and was transported by personnel from the Ryan Township Emergency and Rescue Squad to the Lehigh Valley Hospital-East, Pottsville.

They said he was driving a 2023 Ford F150 that entered the interstate from Exit 131 (Mahanoy City) and rear-ended a 2018 Ford Fiesta operated by Jeffrey M. Herman, 29, of Freeland. He was uninjured.

Police said the F150 was towed from the scene while the Fiesta was able to be driven from the scene.

Police said debris in the Interstate 81 roadway in Delano Township was kicked up and struck a vehicle at 2:55 p.m. March 18.

Police did not identify the driver nor the vehicle, but said it sustained damages to its driver’s side headlight and fender. The vehicle was able to be driven from the scene.
