State police at Frackville

State police at the Frackville barracks have released reports on recent incidents:

• Police said a business at 4 Liberty Street, Rush Township, will be cited for disorderly conduct after police were called there for a false burglary alarm at 3:01 p.m. Nov. 5.

Police said the false alarm was one of multiple ones that have been detected there within the last 12-month calendar year period.

• Donna M. Soley, 71, of Tamaqua, was cited after a crash at 12:21 p.m. Nov. 4 on Claremont Avenue, near the intersection with a private driveway, in Rush Township (Hometown).

Police said she was transported to an area hospital for a medical evaluation.

Police said she was driving a 2017 Toyota Corolla southbound when it left the roadway and struck two vehicles that were parked in a private lot along the driver’s side the west shoulder of the road, a 2024 Chevrolet Trax and a 1999 Honda CRV. Police said the Corolla and Trax were towed from the scene while the Honda was able to be driven from the scene.

• Police were summoned to an indecent assault incident that happened between June 18 and 9:33 a.m. Oct. 2 on Altamont Boulevard, Ryan Township. No other information on the incident was released by police.

• Kylie Usalis, 27, of Lansford, was cited for retail theft (shoplifting) after police were called to the Walmart store, Plaza Drive, Rush Township (Hometown) at 7:10 p.m. Oct. 7.

• Shalanda Smith, 31, of Lansford, was cited for retail theft (shoplifting) after police were called to the Walmart store, Plaza Drive, Rush Township (Hometown) at 3:22 p.m. Oct. 9.

Police said it is alleged she placed numerous miscellaneous items totaling $47.75 in bags and left the store without paying for them. She was driving a 2019 Mitsubishi Outlander.
