November 6, 1950 - Teddy Drigan scores a pair of touchdowns and laterals the ball to a teammate for a third score to help Nesquehoning gain an 18-7 victory over Summit Hill. Drigan scores on the game’s opening drive when his 2-yard TD run caps a 79-yard march. The Hillers come back to take the lead on a 19-yard pass from Howard Miller to Gene Pol and Miller’s conversion. Before the half, Drigan breaks free from the 21-yard line and then laterals to Bobby Coombe, who takes the ball to the end zone. The winners, coached by Tony Mezza, tack on an insurance score in the fourth quarter after Gene Skerchock recovers a fumble and Drigan eventually scores on a 1-yard run.
