State police at the Bethlehem barracks said Jason E. Ziegler, 33, of Slatington, was charged after a motorcycle crash that happened at 3:06 a.m. Sept. 30 on Route 873 in Washington Township. Police said he suffered minor injuries and left the scene prior to their arrival.

Police said he was operating a 2013 Harley-Davidson southbound when he failed to negotiate a left curve in the roadway. The cycle left the roadway via the west side of the southbound lane of travel and hit two traffic signs, coming to rest facing south off the roadway.

The cycle was towed from the scene.
