Bethlehem man killed in I-80 motorcycle crash

State police at Stroudsburg released details on a fatal motorcycle crash Saturday in Monroe County.

Troopers said a 68-year-old man was driving a 2000 Yamaha XV1600 Road Star on Interstate 80 West in Pocono Township when he lost control, crossed the lane and hit a concrete barrier.

Police said he was not wearing a helmet and died at the scene.

It happened at 4:23 p.m. at mile marker 300.3.

Monroe County Coroner Thomas Yanac identified the man as Charles Kline, 68, from Bethlehem. Assisting at the scene were the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, Pocono Mountain Regional EMS, fire department personnel, Damico’s Towing and the Monroe County Coroner’s Office.
