Janet Jackson, celebrating 50 years as a performer, leads the charge of entertainment offerings coming to local and regional venues over the next couple of weeks.

The pop/R&B singer, a 2019 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee, will bring her Together Again Tour to Allentown’s PPL Center.

Also in the Lehigh Valley, The Temptations and The Four Tops will fill Bethlehem’s Wind Creek Event Center with Motown classics.

Meanwhile, in Carbon County, rockers Warrant and FireHouse will play Penn’s Peak. The latter will also host country singer Travis Tritt and a Grateful Dead tribute band. Over at Mauch Chunk Opera House, blues act Ana Popovic will showcase her new album “Power.”

• Travis Tritt, 8 p.m. May 18. A native of Marietta, Georgia, the country singer released his debut studio album in 1990. In 2021, Tritt - whose hit singles include “Anymore” and “Best of Intentions” - released his first studio album in nearly 14 years, “Set in Stone.”

• Warrant and FireHouse, 8 p.m. May 19. Warrant, a glam metal band formed in 1984 in Hollywood, California, scored hits such as “Heaven” and “Cherry Pie.” Rock band FireHouse, which released its debut album in 1990, scored hits such as “Don’t Treat Me Bad” and “Love of a Lifetime.”

• Dark Star Orchestra, 8 p.m. May 21. Formed in Chicago in 1997, DSO performs the music of Grateful Dead. Original Dead members Phil Lesh and Bob Weir have played with DSO.

• Daytime Shows, 1 p.m. May 23-25, The schedule is as follows: A Celebration of Three American Troubadours: James Taylor, Carly Simon & Carole King, May 23; Memories of Patsy: The Patsy Cline Show, May 24; and Still Surfin’: A Tribute to the Beach Boys, May 25.

• 70s Flashback, 8 p.m. May 12. An eight-piece band, 70s Flashback pays tribute to 1970s acts such as Carole King and The Doobie Brothers, plus venues Studio 54 and CBGB.

• EagleMania, 8 p.m. May 13. The seven-piece band performs the Eagles’ greatest hits, plus select Don Henley, Glenn Frey and Joe Walsh solo efforts.

• Ana Popovic, 7:30 p.m. May 17. Born in Serbia, the blues singer-songwriter/guitarist released her debut solo album “Hush!” in 2001, with her 10th set, “Power,” released earlier this month.

• Classic Stones Live: The Glimmer Twins, 8 p.m. May 20. Keith Call and Bernie Bollendorf perform as The Rolling Stones’ Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, respectively.

• The Muppets Take Mahoning, 6 p.m. May 20. The 35 mm double feature consists of 1979’s “The Muppet Movie” and 2011’s “The Muppets.” The event will also include a live Baretta Brothers podcast, themed vendors, collectible displays and photo-ops.

• Zombie-Fest IX Pre-Show Screening, 6 p.m. May 25. Exhumed Films and the theater will preview Zombie-Fest IX with a screening of Sam Raimi’s 1992 horror-comedy “Army of Darkness.” Zombie-Fest IX continues May 26-28, with guests and three nights of films.

• Janet Jackson, 7:45 p.m. May 18. The Together Again Tour celebrates the superstar’s 50th anniversary in entertainment. Born in Gary, Indiana, Jackson saw her music career skyrocket with her third album, 1986’s “Control.” Her hot streak continued with albums such as 1989’s “Rhythm Nation 1814,” 1993’s “Janet.” and 1997’s “The Velvet Rope.” The singer-songwriter/actress, who landed 10 No. 1 singles on Billboard’s Hot 100, released her 11th studio album “Unbreakable” in 2015.

• The Temptations and The Four Tops, 8 p.m. May 13. The groups, formed in Detroit, helped define the 1960s Motown sound. The Temptations, featuring original member Dr. Otis Williams, scored hits such as “My Girl” and “Papa Was a Rollin’ Stone.” The Four Tops, featuring original member Abdul “Duke” Fakir, scored hits such as “I Can’t Help Myself (Sugar Pie Honey Bunch)” and “Reach Out I’ll Be There.”

• Cheap Trick, 8 p.m. May 21. Formed in Rockford, Illinois, in 1973, the rock band features, among others, Rick Nielsen and Robin Zander. Cheap Trick, whose hits include “I Want You to Want Me” and “The Flame,” released its 20th studio set, “In Another Word,” in 2021.

• The Gaslight Anthem, 8 p.m. May 25. The rock band, formed in 2006 in New Brunswick, New Jersey, released its fifth and most recent studio album, “Get Hurt,” in 2014. The Gaslight Anthem features, among others, Brian Fallon and Alex Rosamilia.

• Matt Maher, 8 p.m. May 13. Born in Newfoundland, Canada, the Christian artist released his major-label debut album “Empty & Beautiful” in 2008. The songwriter/worship leader released his latest album, “The Stories I Tell Myself,” in 2022.

• Blues Traveler, 7 p.m. May 14. Formed in Princeton, New Jersey, in 1987, the jam band’s current lineup features, among others, original members John Popper and Chandler Kinchla. Blues Traveler, whose hit singles include “Run-Around” and “Hook,” released its 14th studio album, “Traveler’s Blues,” in 2021.

• The Amish Outlaws, 8 p.m. May 19. The cover band, with four of its six members born and raised in Lancaster, formed in 2002. The Amish Outlaws features, among others, Amos Def, Big Daddy Abel and Eazy Ezekiel.

• Tim Firth’s “Calendar Girls,” May 13-28. After Annie’s husband passes away of leukemia, she and best friend Chris organize a nude calendar to raise money for a new settee in the hospital waiting room. A true story inspired both the play and the 2003 film “Calendar Girls”; in 1999, Women’s Institute members posed nude for a calendar to raise money for the Leukemia Research Fund.
