Tamaqua police are investigating a disturbance that was reported at the Tamaqua Area Middle and High School complex at 10:56 a.m. Thursday.

Police said the incident involved juveniles and parents.

In addition to borough police, other law enforcement agencies are investigating.

Anyone with information is asked to call 570-668-6100 and request to speak with the on-duty officer.

“The safety and security of our students, and residents is always our top priority,” police said.
