The Lutheran Church of St. John In The Heights, located at 319 South Ave., Jim Thorpe, announces the following activities:

Polka Mass

There will be a polka mass at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 19, followed by a dinner in the

fellowship hall of the church. The Heidelberg Brass Band will be conducting the service with music and prayer. All are welcome to attend the service, and if you wish to attend the catered dinner, the church is asking a nominal fee of $10.

Sign-ups are required for the dinner. Sign up at the church, or call the church office and leave your name and phone number to secure your reservation for the dinner.

First Holy Communion

First Holy Communion will be held on Nov. 27, 2022 at the 10:30 a.m. service.

If your child is in first grade or older and you are interested in signing up, please contact the church office by phone or speak with any congregation council member.

Alcoholics Anonymous meet every Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
