Local residents were among more than 850 bachelor’s degrees conferred at its undergraduate commencement ceremony on May 21 at the Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza, Wilkes-Barre. Degrees were conferred to graduates who had completed their academic degree requirements in August and December of 2021, as well as January and May of 2022.

Local students earning undergraduate degrees include the following:

Lehighton: Kayla B. Stubits, Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice and sociology; Gregory C. Venuto, Bachelor of Science degree in neuroscience

Orwigsburg: Katie B. Zehner, Bachelor of Arts degree in history

Palmerton: Alyssa Lamparelli, Bachelor of Science degree in marketing

Saylorsburg: Zeruiah I. Harris, Bachelor of Science degree in forensic chemistry; Andrew C. Lenway, Bachelor of Science degree in psychology

Tamaqua: Angelique M. Coughlin, Bachelor of Science degree in counseling and human services

Tresckow: Anna E. Haber, Bachelor of Science degree in occupational therapy
