Fillies, wreckers shed light on Mental Health awareness Prior to their Schuylkill League softball game last week, members of the Marian and Weatherly softball teams joined together to honor the memory of Lauren Bernett, the James Madison University softball player who recently committed suicide. Players from both teams also wore purple bows in their hair to shed light on mental illness among our youth and to try and bring the issue to light so that tragedies like the one involving Bernett don't continue.
