State police at Frackville said a 2004 Chevrolet Blazer caught fire while the driver of it was southbound on Route 61 in Blythe Township at 2 p.m. Dec. 26.

Police said Matthew R. Wright, 44, of Hegins, pulled over and got out of the vehicle. Fire company personnel were summoned to extinguish the flames.

The vehicle was later towed from the scene.
