January 4, 1952 - A huge game from Marvie Evans helps Lansford roll to a 69-28 Black Diamond League victory over Coaldale. Evans, who outscores the entire Tiger team, connects on 17 shots from the floor and finishes the contest with a career-high 37 points. His output is just two points off the school record of 39, held by Bob Holmes. The winners, coached by Johnny Chuckran, jump out to an 18-7 first-quarter lead and expand the margin to 21 points by halftime. Ziggy Kosciolek contributes 10 points to the Lansford cause, while John Buchala chips in with eight.
