Tamaqua arrests

Tamaqua police reported on the following charges filed by officers.

• Ralph Paul Bolletino, 59, of Center Street, Tamaqua, is facing a charge of harassment.

Police said on Nov. 26, police received a call from a male who said he has been receiving threatening phone calls from Bolletino.

He said there had been an incident involving the two men in Rush Township and both were told by a district judge to have no contact with each other. The male said there were seven calls that morning from the defendant, all voicemails as he does not answer calls from unnamed or restricted numbers. He sent the calls to police.

Police made contact with Bolletino, who claimed he was being harassed by the victim and that the victim owed him money and that he had made complaints with the FBI and U.S. Attorney General’s office. During the call Bolletino made threats toward the victim and continued to allege harassment by the victim. The police report noted Bolletino had little or no respect for local police.

The victim later reported he received two more calls from the defendant harassing him after his initial call.
