Congratulations to Pleasant Valley School District’s board of directors. They just hired a new superintendent who hails from Temple University, an institution proud of the fact it wholly embraces and teaches critical race theory propaganda to all its students.

Our new school superintendent, James Konrad, obtained his master’s and doctorate degrees in education from Temple. It goes without saying that Konrad was exposed to everything Temple has to offer in his discipline - including CRT curriculum. We will never know if any of our board members had the foresight, before hiring him, to pointedly ask Konrad what he thought about the CRT dogma he was fed while at Temple. Or, more importantly, if he introduced or promoted CRT at any of the educational entities he has recently worked for. We will never know, but we certainly should know. This should have been the very first question put to Konrad during the interview process.

Parents of children enrolled at Pleasant Valley School District have every reason to be suspicious of what the school board just did. It’s entirely possible their children are about to be poisoned in the name of CRT. After all, this is the same school board that has surreptitiously entered the gender identity morass by asking first-year high school students which pronoun (he/she/they) they prefer to be identified with, and whether or not it’s OK to discuss it with their parents. You didn’t know about that, Mom and Dad?

Stay vigilant, stay involved and keep a critical eye not only on James Konrad but the entire board of directors as well.
