Lawrence connects with Nate Phillips on a 53-yard scoring toss early in the third quarter to extend the team’s slim 8-0 lead. Later in the frame, he hooks up with Tim McCarroll on a 64-yard score. The winners, coached by Stan Dakosty, also receive a pair of short TD runs from Jeremy Honus and other scores from Jim Kash and Carl Bezick. Vince Blasko intercepts a pass and heads a defense that allows just 47 rushing yards on 33 attempts.
