State police at the Fern Ridge barracks are investigating a scattering rubbish case that was reported to them at 3:28 p.m. July 19.

It happened off Cameron Road in Chestnuthill Township.

Police said someone driving a red pickup truck, possibly a Dodge, illegally dumped the garbage in the area and was last seen in the area of Cameron and Barry roads in the township.
