The Tamaqua School Board recommended the following personnel changes at Tuesday night’s meeting:

Education Committee

• Accepted the resignation of Cera Gaston, certified teacher, effective immediately.

• Approved Vanessa M. Rimbey, certified teacher, beginning 2021-22 school year at a Masters, Step 1, with salary TBD.

Negotiating Committee

• Approved a memo of understanding with Tamaqua Area Education Association regarding a stipend bonus for 2020-21 members.

• Approved an agreement between the TASD and Tamaqua Area Education Association for the following years: 2021-22, 2022-23 and 2023-24.
