The Jim Thorpe Police Department is investigating a hit-and-run incident that occurred in the borough at noon on Wednesday on Route 209.

The suspect vehicle is a green Isuzu stake body truck. This vehicle struck two vehicles in Jim Thorpe and then struck and sheared off a pole in Lehighton borough.

The police department is asking for the public’s help in identifying the vehicle and the driver.
