2021 Easter egg hunts

• The Nesquehoning Recreation Commission will hold a drive-by Easter event from 1-3 p.m. on March 27 for Nesquehoning children ages birth to 10. The Easter Bunny will hand out goodies to the children, who will remain in their vehicles. Masks are required as well. The event will be held in front of the recreation center and the bunny will come to your vehicle. Sign-ups are required and can be made by messaging the center on its Facebook page Nesquehoning Recreation Center by March 20. Information needed includes the child’s name, age and gender.

• The Jim Thorpe Touchdown Club is planning to hold an Easter egg hunt and pictures fundraiser. The Easter Bunny will be visiting Olympian Football Stadium in Jim Thorpe on March 27 from 9 a.m. to noon. The fundraiser will include photos with the Easter Bunny, a bake sale and an egg hunt. There is a fee for photos for up to five individuals or family members, and the egg hunt is free for kids under age 10. Masks and social distancing will be required. • An Easter egg hunt for children ages 0 to 10 who reside in Lansford and American Legion Post 123 members will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on March 27 at the Lansford Pool. The event, hosted by American Legion Post 123, will include a visit from the Easter bunny, who will be available for pictures. Hot dogs, drinks and snacks will be given to the children. You must register for the event. Call the Legion at 570-645-9795 or send a message through the Legion’s Facebook page with the names and ages of the children who will be attending.

• Zion United Lutheran Church, Brodheadsville, is hosting a community drive-thru egg hunt from 1 to 3 p.m. March 28, for ages 5 through fifth grade. Call 570-992-6988 or email zionulc@ptd.net with questions.

• The West Penn Community Easter egg hunt will be held at the Andreas Sporting Club on March 28 at 1 p.m. The rain date is April 3. All children through age 12 are welcome.

• Ross Township: A drive-thru Easter egg hunt will be held at the township park on April 3 at 1 p.m.
