Monroe County commissioners

The Monroe County commissioners on Wednesday:

• In an update on the COVID Hospitality Industry Recovery Program, a motion passed to ratify the bank account at ESSA.

Motions were approved for the Monroe County Children & Youth Services for the following agencies and services:

• Submission of the first quarter 2020-2021 Juvenile Probation Office Title IV-E Claim in the amount of $8,523.47

• First quarter 2020-2021 fiscal report indicating spending through the end of the first quarter in the amount of $3,962,439.

• Execute the following Purchase of Service Agreements for the period of July 1, 2020, through June 30, 2021.

• Access Services, $100,000 contract limit.

• Bethany Home Inc. $100,000 contract limit.

• Diakon Child, Family & Community Services $75,000 contract limit.

• Family Care for Children & Youth Inc. $85,000 contract limit.

• The Blair Foundation of Pennsylvania $17,000 contract limit.

• Summit School, $175,000 contract limit.

• Vision Quest, $50,000 contract limit.

• Youth Services Inc., $100,000.

• Kids Peace National Centers, $150,000.

A motion was approved to execute the following 2021 Community Services Block Grant

• Catholic Social Services, $10,000.

• Family Promise of Monroe County, $74,072.

• Habitat for Humanity, $20,000.

• Monroe County Meals on Wheels, $27,886.

• Pocono Area Transitional Housing, $30,000.

• Pocono Mountains United Way, $41,068.

• Pocono Services for Families and Children, $35,000.

• Stroud Region Open Space, $6,000.

• The Salvation Army, $109,000.

• Monroe County Housing Authority reappointed the Rev. Dr. Sherrie L. Snead to the board with a new term to expire Sept. 27, 2025.

• Capital Purchases Report dated Feb. 25, 2021, totaling $149,000 was approved.

• Computer Capital Purchases Report dated Feb. 25, 2021, totaling $571.12 was approved.
