The Board of Directors of the Carbon-Schuylkill Industrial Development Corporation took time out from its monthly meeting last night in Lansford to remember two colleagues who died in 1983, passing separate resolutions in their honor.

The board honored Richard “Dick” Hoben, executive secretary, and Edward B. Michalik, first vice president, prior to their untimely deaths.

President William Gardiner presided at the session when the resolutions, prepared by attorney Joseph Velitsky, Summit Hill, board member and solicitor, were read. Gardiner said the resolutions will be forwarded to the widows of the former board members.
