Middlecreek welcomes new pastor

Middlecreek Christian Church invites people to the 10:30 a.m. worship service Sunday to meet the new pastor, Jeremy Woodhouse, who will be preaching his first sermon at the church.

He and his wife, Kimberley, have recently moved here from Montana and are eagerly looking forward in seeing what ministries God has opening up for them in the West End communities.

Jeremy and Kimberley Woodhouse have been married for almost 30 years and have been serving in full-time ministry their entire married life. They met at Bible College in Birmingham, Alabama.

They have two adult married children, Joshua and his wife, Ruth, and Kayla and her husband, Steven, and their first grandchild will arrive in June.

Over the years, they have been in ministry in Alabama, Louisiana, Arkansas, Alaska, Colorado, Michigan and Montana. Jeremy has a passion for missions and for the world to know the light - Jesus. He has two master’s degrees and loves to teach the word.

Kim is a best-selling Christian author and speaker. She has won The Carol Award, The Reader’s Choice Award, The Holt Medallion, and has finaled in the Selah Awards and the Spur Awards. She loves music, writing, teaching God’s word and playing golf with Jeremy. Jeremy enjoys anything sports-related, fishing and losing to Kim on the golf course.

They have been through difficult times with their daughter Kayla, who was born with HSAN (hereditary sensory autonomic neuropathy), an extremely rare nerve disorder. Unable to sweat or feel pain, she’s also been through brain surgery.

Their story has been featured on television and they had a house built for them by “ABC Extreme Home Makeover.”

The church is located at 343 Dorshimer Road, Kresgeville. Masks are required while walking about, but may be removed while in your seat.
