Credit defaults

The following actions were filed by credit card companies, or their collection agencies, for alleged defaults on credit card/loan accounts.

Portfolio Recovery Associates, Norfolk, Virginia, filed the following actions: Todd Radler, 644 Franklin Ave., Palmerton, seeking $2,013.33; and Georgianna Hiler, 830 E. Patterson St., Lansford, seeking $1,760.

CVI SGP Acquisition, Canonsburg, filed an action against Zachary Graver, 324 Country Club Road, Lehighton, seeking 3,745.70.

Capital One Bank, Eatontown, New Jersey, filed action against Michael V. Plitt Jr., 430 E. Bertsch St., Lansford, seeking $4,842.28.

Mortgage foreclosures

The following actions were filed as mortgage foreclosures for alleged defaults on loans.

MMS Mortgage Services, c/o 38275 W. Twelve Mile Road, Farmington Hills, Michigan, filed an action against any and all known and unknown heirs of Thomas J. Heller; and the following: Jesse Clauser, 1749 Red Bud Road, Quakertown; Chelsey Fell, 1205 Kossuth St., Lafayette, Indiana; and Kay L. Heller, 25 Cedar St., Macungie, over property at 326 E. Fell St., Summit Hill. Sought is $30,443.04 and continuing interest.

MEB Loan Trust IV, c/o 6200 S. Quebec St., Greenwood Village, Colorado, filed an action against Harold C. Sipler Jr. and Marci Jo Neyhart, 195 Hudsondale St., Weatherly, over property at that address. Sought is $19,305.07 and continuing interest.

U.S. Bank Trust National Association, c/o 15480 Laguna Canyon Road, Irvine, California, filed an action against Patricia M. and Christopher Ringler, 412 Clymer Court, Northampton, over property at 1210 Summer Mountain Road, Palmerton. Sought is $144,445.12 and continuing interest.

Rental default

Spacemaker Rentals LLC, P.O. Box 331961, Murfreesboro, Tennessee, filed an action against William D. Marshman, 905A North St., Weatherly, alleging he defaulted on a rental purchase agreement. Sought is $11,944 plus interest, costs and fees.

Nursing home suit

A county nursing home facility has been named in a suit for damages.

The estate of Regina Hettler, by and through her administrators, David Hettler, Michael Hettler and Kenneth Hettler, 996 Peace St., Hazleton, filed the action against Guardian Elder Care of Weatherly, dba Weatherwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center 1000 Evergreen Ave., Weatherly.

The suit states that Regina Hettler, deceased, was a patient of the defendant when she suffered serious and permanent injuries, including death, from a fall when she was alighting from a toilet. The injuries sustained are detailed in the suit. The suit alleges, “defendant knew that Ms. Hettler was a ‘fall risk’ and has dementia.”

Negligence is alleged against the defendant and sought are damages “in an amount in excess of the arbitration limits, plus interest and costs.”

Loan default

First Commonwealth Federal Credit Union, 6126 Hamilton Blvd., Allentown, filed a civil complaint against Lewie Allen Zavitsky Jr., 944 Edgemont Ave., Palmerton, alleging he defaulted on a loan and security agreement for the purchase of an automobile. Sought is $8,974.04 plus interest, costs and fees.

The plaintiff also filed a judgment against Gaige Daniel Accardi, 3975 Forest Inn Road, Palmerton, for $2,950.92; and a judgment against Niki L. and Maureen A. Jendrzejewski, 233 Valley View Drive, Albrightsville, for $8,650.93.

Bill owed

Helicopter Flite Inc., based in Weatherly, filed a civil action against Tyler D. and Kayla Sigel, 665 E. Butler Road, York.

The suit alleges the parties entered into a verbal contract for the plaintiff to provide helicopter flight services for the defendants.

The suit alleges a bill is due and owed for services provided. Sought is $7,275 plus interest, costs and fees.
