The Last Man’s Club of the Babinetz-Horowski AMVETS Post 83 of Lansford held its annual dinner meeting on Saturday night in the post home, with election of officers for 1969 being among the highlights of the evening.

Michael Lukac was named to hold the presidency next year while other officers will be William Knepper, vice president; Joseph Puskar, treasurer; John Bokrosh, secretary; and Steve Lewis, chaplain. The outgoing president is Joseph Modrick.

About 80 people attended the program, during which time Nicholas Perbetsky Jr. led the assemblage in the Toast to Departed Comrades and John Rybnikar, commander of the post, advances the Toast to the Living with his comrades.
