Mahoning Township residents have reason to rejoice: There will be no tax increase next year.

Township supervisors last week agreed to advertise the 2021 proposed budget, with all funds totaling $2,774,413.

That would leave the millage rate at 6.75 mills.

The board expects to grant the budget final adoption in December.
