PPL is reporting more than 19,000 people without electricity in its coverage area as of 7 p.m.

Locally, Carbon has 572 without power, including 340 out in East Penn Township, 27 in Jim Thorpe, 118 in Lower Towamensing Township, 57 in Mahoning Township, 20 in Packer Township and 10 in Towamensing Township.

In Lehigh County, 713 are out, including 416 in Heidelberg Township, and 46 in Washington Township.

In Monroe County, 2,484 are out, including 164 in Chestnuthill Township, 807 in Eldred Township and 74 in Polk Township.

Northampton has 129 without power, including 15 in Walnutport.

More than 1,200 are out in Schuylkill, with 71 Rush Township, 15 in Rush Township, and 72 in West Penn Township.
