There will be a pantry grocery giveaway this Saturday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Memorial Hall Park in Jim Thorpe. Organizers recommend arriving promptly as distribution goes very quickly.

The Shepherd House Ebenezer Food Pantry is organizing the food distribution for any interested resident who resides in the Jim Thorpe Area School District. All that is required is to show proof of residency (driver’s license or utility bill would suffice). This food giveaway has an added bonus: A Thanksgiving turkey.
