Tamaqua defeated Nativity on Thursday to give Clem McCarroll his 200th career coaching victory.

McCarroll recorded his 200th coaching career victory thanks to Tamaqua earning a 1-0 non-league victory over Nativity.

Sophia Boyle scored a first half goal for the Blue Raiders.

Tamaqua goalie Zoe Seltzer made 10 saves to secure her fourth shutout on the season.

The Raiders (6-6, 8-9) will be in District 11 playoff action next week.

Pleasant Valley-Stroudsburg

Trinity Treulieb had a goal and an assist to help Pleasant Valley gain a 3-0 Eastern Pennsylvania Conference victory over Stroudsburg.

Treulieb set up teammate Aurora Cruci for the game’s first goal, and then tallied herself to make it 2-0. The Bears, who had 22 shots on goal, finished the scoring when Alex Bush found the net off an assist from Teah Cardoza.

Sam Merkin made three saves in net for PV, which improved to 6-1.
