McAdoo man violated Megan’s Law

A McAdoo man faces charges after he failed to register his new address with state police after leaving prison.

Nesquehoning police said they were notified on Aug. 10 that Dean William Tessitore Jr., 28, of the 200 block of South Hancock Street, failed to register his new address with Megan’s Law.

He had been released from the Carbon County Correctional Facility on April 8 and provided them with a Hazleton address, but police learned that he was no longer living at that address.

Police attempted to contact Tessitore without success.

He was charged with failing to register with state police and failing to verify address and arraigned on Oct. 8 before District Judge Casimir Kosciolek. He is currently in Carbon County Correctional Facility on $2,000 bail and faces a preliminary hearing before Kosciolek on Oct. 21.
