Tribute was paid by the Carbon-Schuylkill Industrial Development Corporation to “new” industries brought to the Panther Valley since it was former 20 years ago.

In order of their arrival they are Majestic Lamp Manufacturing Company, Silberline Manufacturing Company, Tonolli Corporation, Ametek West Chester Plastics Division and Sarama Lighting of Pennsylvania. It was also noted CSIDC also assisted with the expansion of the Kovatch Truck Center into its newest facility, the former Conalco Building.

The “Industry Recognition Night” was held last evening at the Edgemont Lodge, Lansford, where Norval D. Reece, Secretary of Commerce, was the guest speaker.
