Our Lady of the Angels Academy, Lansford, received a $20,000 gift from the Bridge Education Foundation, Harrisburg, which will help the school offset its tuition costs.

The money, enough to help 17 families send their children to the school, was drawn from a donation to the foundation from Scranton-based RBC Capital Markets, an international investment banking, sales and trading firm.

The company was able to funnel the money to OLOV through the state’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit program, setting aside $7,500 for the Little Angels pre-kindergarten program and $12,500 to the remaining grades.
