A New Ringgold woman is facing charges of endangering the welfare of a child after state police at the Lehighton barracks determined she was under the influence of alcohol while operating a vehicle with a 7-year-old girl as a passenger.

Police said the 30-year-old woman was driving a 1998 Jeep Wrangler when she was stopped at 9:36 a.m. Sept. 8 in the parking lot of Frank’s Pizza, 438 Interchange Road, Polk Township.

Police said the charges will be filed pending results of blood tests.
