Lehighton state police report thefts, mischief

State police at the Lehighton barracks report the following incidents:

• The theft of a registration plate from a truck in Penn Forest Township was reported at 12:48 p.m. Sept. 19.

Police said the owner of the plate told them the PA registration plate - ZJS9034 - was removed from his work truck sometime during the past year while it was parked on Hatchery Road in the township.

• Police are investigating the theft of a trailer from the Woods Campground, 3500 Forest St., Towamensing Township.

It happened between 4 p.m. Sept. 6 and 1 p.m. Sept. 7.

The victim is a Bryn Mawr resident.

The trailer is a 2015 silver/aluminum Wells Fargo commercial unit.

• Police are investigating a criminal mischief incident that happened between 3 p.m. Sept. 7 and 11:52 a.m. Sept 11 on the 1000 block of Interchange Road in Polk Township.

Police said the victim reported damaged to a front window of his residence. Police said a small hole in the window that was made by an unknown object.
