At least one person was injured Wednesday afternoon after they were involved in a crash along Route 54 in Rush Township. The incident occurred around 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of Lake Drive and Route 54, the entrance to Lake Hauto Club. It involved an eastbound car attempting to make a left turn into the lake crossing the path of a westbound Jeep. After impact the Jeep continued on sliding on the roadway, entering the berm n its roof. The occupants of the vehicles were treated at the scene by members of the Tamaqua ambulance.
