State police at Fern Ridge - investigations

State police at Fern Ridge reported investigating the following incidents.

• Troopers said on July 30, they responded to the 800 block of Old Stage Road in Penn Forest Township for a reported break-in.

On scene, the victims, a 63-year-old woman and a 78-year-old man from Albrightsville, said two items worth about $1,000 were removed from the master bedroom of the home sometime between July 27 at 9 a.m. and when troopers responded at 1 p.m.

Entry into the home was made through a side window.

• On Aug. 4 about 9 p.m. troopers responded to the Turkey Hill market along Route 209 at Gilbert Road in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County, for a report of a theft.

On scene, a 31-year-old woman from Slatington reported her iPhone 11 was stolen from the counter top inside the store, sometime between 8:20 p.m. and until troopers arrived. The phone is valued at $650.

• On Aug. 9 at 10:17 a.m. troopers responded to the 2600 block of Route 115 in Chestnuthill Township for a report of theft of services.

On scene, the victim, a 39-year-old Nazareth man, reported someone was dumping trash into his dumpster.
