A flood advisory is in effect tonight for Carbon County in northeastern Pennsylvania and Western Monroe County until 11:30 p.m.

Some locations that could experience flooding include... Lehighton, Jim Thorpe, Nesquehoning, Weatherly, Brodheadsville, New Mahoning, Pocono Pines, Gilbert, Pocono Raceway, Lake Harmony, Long Pond, Albrightsville, Kresgeville, Sun Valley, Arrowhead Lake, Jonas, Meckesville, Reeders, Beltzville State Park and McMichael.

Additional rainfall of up to one inch is expected over the area.

This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
